I'd like to include Magdalen in my Will. Where can I find more information?
Thank you for considering including Magdalen in your Will. You can find out more information about remembering Magdalen in your Will by visiting our legacy giving webpage or by requesting your legacy pack.

Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows exempt charities like Magdalen College to claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate (at no additional cost to you). To qualify for Gift Aid, you must be a UK taxpayer and what you pay in income tax and/or capital gains tax must equal the amount we, and any other charities or Community Amateur Sports Club you donate to, will claim in the tax year.
When you make a donation, please tick the checkbox on the online giving form. We can then claim back the Gift Aid tax relief– there's nothing else you need to do.
What if I am a higher-rate taxpayer?
If you are a higher-rate taxpayer, you can claim back the difference between the tax you've paid on your donation and what Magdalen got back when you fill in your Self Assessment tax return.
Example: You donate £100 to Magdalen – we claim Gift Aid to make your donation £125. You pay 40% tax so you can personally claim back £25.00 (£125 x 20%).
Magdalen seeks to involve alumni in a variety of ways. While financial support for the College's fundraising priorities is vital, you may also be able to help by giving your time or practical assistance.
I still have questions; how can I get in touch?
