The Magdalen College Boat Club has provided a formative College experience for thousands of students for over a century. Each year, our rowers (the majority of whom learn to row at College) embrace the unique team bonding experience and racing thrills of belonging to the MCBC. Through early mornings on the river and intense training sessions, our students forge life-long friendships and develop essential life skills such as teamwork, resilience and determination.
How your support could make a difference
A gift to the MCBC will help us support all students who want to take up rowing, and allow us to build on the success of the Club by funding equipment, kit and training capabilities. Recent support from alumni and friends has enabled the Club to purchase a new Women's Single, which has promoted sculling to female rowers, new Boat Blades for M1, which were in desperate need of replacement and a Club Kit Fund to reduce the pressure on students to fund expensive kit.
