Marshall Scholarships have enabled young Americans to study for a degree in the UK since 1953. These Scholars study for a range of degrees, enhancing their intellectual and personal growth while creating a meaningful lifelong affinity with Britain.

Magdalen has a long history of hosting Marshall Scholars, and has recently made a commitment to take and fund the tuition fees of at least one new Marshall Scholar every year. The tuition fees of each scholar cost approximately $50,000 (£30,000) a year and are typically for a duration of two years, requiring $100,000 (£60,000) a year to fund two scholars at any one time. We are seeking the support of our community to help us achieve this annual commitment.
